Traffic : Just appearing in Google Search results is not enough - You want people to click on the link and go to your website. The snippet of information displayed in the Search Results or in the Business Directory listing has to entice the customer to make contact with you either via your website, email or phone.
Web Site Design and Content : The website content is viewed two ways - Firstly by Google to determine where your website should be presented in various Google Search results - Secondly by potential customers as their first impression of your business. The website design and content must be technically correct and use words relevant to your business, products and services so Google puts your website in the right search results. The website must look appealing to customers, up to date text and images, fresh information.
Having "A" web site is not enough - You need to appear in as many web places as you can, Facebook, Google +, Blogs, Business Directories, Linkedin, You tube. Your website is just the central hub that holds this all together.
